...is this a dignified way for the President of the British Birding Association to conduct himself in public? I'm shocked and disappointed quite frankly. The birding public expects better from its leaders who, it must be remembered, are also important role models for up-and-coming young ornithologists. Shame on you, Mr President.
Thanks to several people for sending me this photo, and to the anonymous birding paparazzo who took it. You know who you are...

To quote another president "I was not having sexual relations with that man"
Priceless. Made my day.
[re. my comment under 'things that wankers say'].
The 'President' might as well be wearing a 'bullseye tee-shirt'..
This guy [unlike Kennedy]has got to enjoy being shot down..
Is it my imagination, or is the 'president' getting more and more like 'Jordan'? [not the country, but the bimbo with the big mouth and tits who talks to her husband like a piece of shit]. They moan like bollocks when they get bad press but secretly, don't they just love all the attention? To sort of quote from Oscar Wilde..' there's only one thing worse than being talked about..and thats not being talked about'!
I have instructed my lawyers to proceed with getting an injunction against this forum, which is clearly out to destroy my long-standing and hard-earned reputation as Britains Number 1 Lister and Rare Bird Adjudicator.
This entirely innocent photograph was taken whilst I was enjoying a birding holiday in Mykonos with members of the GBC, shortly after a lengthy Birding Union Meeting (BUM) in San Francisco. As President of the BBA this is important networking.
Anyway, of course I like cock. The Red Junglefowl is one of my favorite species.
beast - you're right, I don't want to give the twat too much attention, it just confirms his mistaken impression that he's some sort of celebrity. However, if I get a complaining e-mail from him with his usual impotent threats of legal action and/or death I will of course post it on the blog for all to read and comment on...
fucking awesome
thought it was a fake at first...
surely BB Bird Photograph of the Year 2008?
I've been assured that it is genuine, and was taken in Egypt last year.
A pal of mine was 'lucky' enough to bump into the aforementioned President today whilst admiring a Pectoral Sandpiper. Amazingly it was LGRE's 618th British 'Pec', his 29th for Essex, his 133rd on a Saturday and his 499th whilst wearing a Ratners 9kt gold crucifix style ear lobe adornment and a pair of Brantano cream brogues. Impressive statistics indeed.
Surely Brantano haven't been around that long for Lee to see 499 Pec Sands in their cream loafers.
Do you remember the very worn cream suit he used to wear. It was so threadbare that for years you could see his undercrackers quite clearly.
