The Men Who Stare at Falcons

There was another report today of a possible/probable/putative Eleonora’s Falcon in ‘Area 51’ (also known as Dreamland). This was at least the eighth report in the area since the middle of September. At least three different birds have been involved – a dark morph, a pale morph and now a juvenile. Just what is going on down there? Is there something we’re not being told?

Falcon-phyllosc fever is now at it's peak. Symptoms of this virus include nausea..shaking of the head from side to side..blurred vision..headaches..and various feathery hallucinations. This epidemic has spread throughout the country...but hopefully things should get back to what most folk regard as 'reality'..as soon as autumn is officially over...[maybe]...

ps...of course..there might be a 'real' ellies somewhere down south...amongst all the 'phantoms'...

You beat me too this one Andy. I suspect it's a sign that Mr Oddie has been released into the community once again.

To quote the lovely Cerys Matthews from Catatonia:
Things are getting strange, I'm starting to worry
This could be a case for Mulder and Scully
Things are getting strange, now I can't sleep alone

Or to quote a loud northern twat (ahem, me), 'what the fuck!'. Andy's let the cat out of the bag though. All those peregrines seen over the skies of the capital and breeding on those high rise things have all been Eleanora's! And we have them beeding in Peterborough now! Fantastic.
