You've been papped!

Leicestershire twitchers were honoured yesterday by an unannounced visit from the President of the British Birdspotting Association, Lee Grevans.

El Presidente toured Watermead Country Park (strangely without his usual retinue of ‘Creebs’, bodyguards and assorted hangers-on) and was able to confirm a sighting of the rare red-tailed swallow, which is thought to have been blown off course by strong winds whilst migrating.

Now, which is the end I look through again?

Yeah - got it - red tail showing really well!

Thanks to the Drunkbirder for the photos.

What about an El Presidente pap photo competition? Who can pap him at the shabbiest bird of the year maybe?

Or who can photograph him getting out of a car wearing a mini skirt and no underwear? No, on second thoughts, please don't.

Andy....can you possibly be suggesting that a 'certain person' is a 'closet cross-dresser'?! Or do you feel that the famously 'flaps-akimbo' Britney Spears, is in fact, some sort of anagram of 'Shitlee-Smears'...?!

ps...i'm guessing that you meant neither of the above...

Is it just me who's confused about the plumage of this sub-spp? I'm sure the crown should be greyer than depicted given the apparent age class?
