FFS give it a rest

No doubt this will be commented upon and dissected in detail at great length on Birdforum and elsewhere. I would hope that anyone with a grain of intelligence, whether they know anything about birding or not, will be able to see that it’s largely typical British media sensationalist crap, but I’m going to restrict myself to one comment:

Lee – if you’re genuinely concerned about the image of birding being tarnished, for fuck’s sake next time a journalist rings you up looking for a comment, just politely tell them you’re not interested.

I don't know about a 'respect' code...i think that we should all just adopt a 'disrespect' code and tell certain negative journalists to fuck off...

[And if a journalist reads this i can forsee what he or she will write]...

'Foulmouthed internet twitchers tell journalists to go fuck themselves up the arse with an extremely large telephoto lens"...etc

You can't win with these bastards so you are right Andy...best thing is to just avoid yakking to them...'don't go towards the limelight'...

ps...of course....what the media are really hoping for is for some bird photographer to be be murdered...

pps...perhaps Charlie Moores could get one of these journalists on 'the conference calls' and poke the twat in the eye with a big stick...

Yes! It's been a while since there was a good "flocked to catch a glimpse of the rare..."

Well, since the last time a rare bird was reported in a newspaper, anyway.
